Dr. David Yarlott (Crow/Korean) received the Alumni Achievement Award at the Montana State University (MSU) homecoming Oct. 11, 2009. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from MSU in 1994, his Master’s in Business Education in 1996, and his Doctorate of Education in 1999. Yarlott has been president of Little Big Horn College (LBHC) on Montana’s Crow Reservation for seven years. He is a member of the Greasy Mouth Clan. Yarlott was born in Korea to a Crow father and Korean mother and then moved to the Crow Reservation, where he learned both the Crow Indian language and English. He has served as chair of the American Indian College Fund and currently serves as president of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.
