Rodeo scholars sign letters of intent

NEW RODEO RECRUITS. Coby Nez of Cow Springs, AZ, and Kaydrea Stevenson of Lake Valley, NM signed letters of intent to rodeo with Navajo Technical College (NTC) for the 2012-2013 rodeo season.

In July, Coby Nez of Cow Springs, AZ and Kaydrea Stevenson of Lake Valley, NM signed letters of intent to rodeo with Navajo Technical College (NTC) for the 2012-2013 rodeo season. Nez competed in the Western Junior Rodeo Association last year and will compete in the team roping event while majoring in NTC’s vet tech program. Stevenson competed in the Indian Junior Rodeo Association last year and will be competing in the barrels and goat tying events while majoring in preprofessional nursing. In August, Justin Silversmith (not pictured) of Houck, AZ, also signed a letter of intent to rodeo with NTC for the 2012–2013 season.
