The American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) American Indian Sustainable Land Practices Network is pleased to announce the AIHEC Land Center, a new web-based information and technical assistance portal. It has been designed to assist 1994 land-grant faculty, extension directors, and staff in providing educational services and assistance to Native American farmers, ranchers, forest landowners, fishers, and other agricultural producers.

The web portal can be accessed at: aiheclandcenter.aihec.org.

The AIHEC Land Center will grow to contain more reference materials, technical information, web links, and discussion boards on topics related to agricultural production. The AIHEC Land Center is part of a set of technical assistance and training tools supported by a USDA outreach grant.

For more information or to upload information to the portal, please contact John Phillips at jphillips@aihec.org.
