The U.S. West Foundation will fund the attendance of six tribal college presidents at Harvard’s Institute for Educational Management starting in 1990.

The Harvard program provides professional development for senior college and university administrators.

The grants will include all expenses associated with attendance at the summer program.

This is the most recent announcement of support from U.S. West. Previously, the regional communications company has funded programs at tribal colleges in North Dakota and was the first corporation to provide support for administrative costs to the American Indian College Fund.
