Teacher Education and the Rosebud Tribal Education Code

The White House Conference on Indian Education held in January 1992 passed a resolution encouraging and exhorting all tribes to develop their own codes of education. The codes will be ones that work for native Americans with the acknowl­edgement of their respective sovereignty as tribes. The Rosebud Sioux Reservation Tribal Code of Education may well become a model for other tribes. TCJ PAID CONTENT
