The giving of names is still a vital and important tradition among the Northern Arapaho of the Wind River Reservation of Wyoming. Just like all other Americans, Arapaho tribal members are given Western style names at birth. Shortly after birth, an infant is given a traditional, Arapaho‑language name. TCJ PAID CONTENT
