United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) celebrated its 27th year by inviting tribal elders to be a part of the orientation for staff and faculty in August. UTTC will emphasize its connection to tribal values in its teaching and programs this year. The college, which is owned by the five tribes located in North Dakota, introduced language programs in addition to the 19 certificate and 2-year degree programs.

The college offers a comprehensive, holistic curriculum and services for tribal adults and their families, according to UTTC President David M. Gipp, including two on-campus early childhood centers and a K-8 elementary school.
