The Institute of American Indian Arts has received a $20,800 grant from the National Science Foundation for its Internet connection. Through the NSF project, students can become more active in designing and creating the new IAIA home page.

It will include images of creative works, interviews with students and faculty, library resources, museum holdings, links to other Native American resources, alumni news, Native American archival records, financial aid information, and cultural information. It will also be used for distance education classes, class lectures, and faculty syllabi. The home page address is www.nuovo.com/iaia. For more information, contact Allen Schwartz, head librarian, at (505) 988-6422 or e-mail ixst104@quest.oscs.montana.edu
