Lullaby and goodnight
My sweet little darling
Lullaby and goodnight
Go to sleep now
My sweet crying baby
My sweet Waaa waaa waaa
Until momma has a headache darling.

Lullaby and goodnight
It’s 2:00, then 4:00, then 6:00
In the morning
Time to sleep,
Have to sleep,
My sweet little darling.

Lullaby and goodnight
My suck, suck, sucking
Until my nipples are raw
Sweet darling
My sucking and burping
And crying and peeing
And crying and crying
Little sweetheart

My name is Lydia Zilkoski. I was born in Stockton, CA, and attended a private elementary school in Toledo, OH. When I moved to the Fort Peck Reservation in Wolf Point, MT, at 12 years old, I became personally involved with drug and alcohol addiction. I was unable to finish several courses at Fort Peck Community College in 1998 and 1999 but began seriously attending in 2000, the year my son and prime motivator for staying sober, was born. I enjoy writing, humanities, theatre, photography, drawing, and running and found my passion when I took a poetry writing class. Currently, I am waitressing my way through college and intend to pursue a BA in Visual Communication with a minor in journalism.
