Mission Statement
Our Mission:
On behalf of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium's member tribal colleges and universities, we provide information for everyone interested in American Indian higher education. Our culture-based publication addresses subjects important to the future of American Indian and Alaska Native communities utilizing both journalistic and scholarly articles.
Tribal College Journal (ISSN 1052-5505) is a quarterly publication of
the American Indian Higher Education Consortium, an organization
of 35 Indian-controlled colleges in the United States and Canada.
It is published with assistance from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation,
and the American Indian College Fund and printed on recycled paper.
Subscriptions are $24 per year for individuals, $34 for institutions.
Add $15 per year outside the United States ($10 for Canada).
